 Headaches
« Thread Started on Nov 3, 2009, 10:25am »

Does anyone get a headache from wearing a head covering?
My sister has thick hair and gets a headache when wearing her hair up all day. She is thinking of going to a snood. Does anyone else have a problem with this and found a solution? Thanks Lisa

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Psalm 1:1,2

I always have trouble with migraines when I cover, especially coverings that need clips.

I have very thick hair as well so it's hard to have it very long. I usually keep it trimmed around midback so it's long still, but that depends how you all view cutting your hair.

Snoods are nice, I like them. Also instead of using barettes for my hair they have these really nice plain clips at Target and Walmart for very long thick hair. I love these, use them all the time.

I have to have nonbinding coverings for me, which sadly throws the veil out the window. I really like wide headbands, they do the trick for me.

Maybe she is pulling her hair too tight when she puts it up. I would suggest a looser hair-do.
