In the Spring of 2000 we started practicing a more plain and simple lifestyle. Realizing that we could only be friends with our anabaptist relatives, i.e., Mennonites, Amish, and other plain groups we began our seach for plain, head covering Baptists. At first we were disheartened because we couldn't find anyone.
Realizing that there needed to be a web site for plain Baptists, we started the Head Veiling Baptists web site. www.ourchurch.com/member/h/headveilingbapt/ We created this site that it would be a lighthouse for Baptists and other likeminded, born again, believers who were looking for the same thing. It was our desire that people could meet and fellowship with brethren even if it was only via internet.
We hope that you receive a blessing and encouragement as you meet and discuss things with us here at Head Covering Bapists. Not everyone here is plain, or covers, but you are welcome to come and and meet us and fellowship with us as we walk the pilgrims pathway seeking to please our Lord Jesus Christ.
