Dear Brother Ben...I was talking to one of the female members of a group I am part of at school, we are doing Parish nursing together...She claims to be a pastor for the youth at her church...I believe her church is charismatic, not sure on that spelling...anyway a statement was brought up about pastors, and I said only men could be pastors, and she was offended because she claims she is a pastor...I said that the new testament teaches that women are not to preach over men and that if she wanted to open the bible we could have a study on the subject...but of course she claims that in the old testament that it says in the last days that women will become pastors...ok, I had no ideal what she is talking about, do you know where that is found? Then of course I was attacked by rest of the group saying that people need to get past the ideal of "only" men pastors, that women can and do step up to the pulpit and do a fine job...please let me know what you find out about this, I know it will come up again, she was insulted, but I didn't do it purposely, I just stated the truth...Thanks Sis Debbie

I can't, for the life of me, think of or find any verse that says women would be pastors/preachers in the last day. You obviously know the I Tim. 3 verses that you refered to when talking to her. I would get her to show you the O.T. verse that says such. Usually there isn't one, and if there is one, it is so grossly taken out of context that an honest N.T. bible believer will automatically dismiss it. I would kindly ask her, "Chapter and verse, please?"
You are dealing with liberated women, who do not know the truth. It could very well be that they will shun you after this. I am not trying to talk you out of confronting them, per adventure they will discover the truth and repent. Paul said:
Gal 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
Bro. Ben
