If someone woudl like recieps then we can post them.. For example I just went to the grocery store with my 20.00... That is all we had to spend and it has to last a while. This is what we bought. 5 ramon noodles 5 # sugar 6evap milk 3mac and cheese 1spegetti sauce 1speggetti noodles 1 bag great northern beans mustard 2 tuna fish 1 dz eggs cream of wheat hot dog chili 2 lbs margine Now with that we have already at home green beans squash zucchinni potatoes tomatoes rice pinto beans pumpkin flour sugar corn meal grits oats crab apples salmon (can) dried beef (can) So with that here is what our meals will look like Breakfast: pancakes grits with butter oatmeal with brown sugar and cinnamon muffins cream of wheat with crab apples pumpkin bread made into toast biscuits with pepper gravy LUnch: raman noodles( chicken) with toast ramen noodles (beef) with toast Mac and cheese with chili left over the rest of the week.. Dinner: Spegetti with green beans Squash fried with fried salmon patties bread Pinto beans and great northern beans with ham pieces and cornbread Rewarmed beans with rice and cornbread Tuna casserole with green beans Potato soup, and biscuits Dried beef with white gravy over homemade bread and green beans Drinks will be: water tea coffee Deserts jello homemade cake left over muffins bread with cinnamon sugar Any idea will be great....

Hi Glenda. Here's a frugal recipe we enjoy. I don't have exact ingredient amounts, just adjust to your taste.
Chinese Noodles spaghetti chicken broth, maybe one cup per person. hard cooked eggs, chopped, maybe one egg per person onion, chopped soy sauce
Cook the noodles and drain. Set the broth on the table, along with the other ingredients in separate bowls. Pass around the table and each person can mix up their own dish.

Glenda, I am a little late, but I just saw this thread.
Thank you for the grocery list! We are on a really tight budget right now, too!
One thing I like to do with the ramen noodles: crunch them up and toss with melted butter; spread them on a baking sheet and brown them in the oven. If you have sliced almonds or sunflower seeds, add them to the mix and brown with it.
This makes a yummy topping for salads, green beans, veggies, tuna cassarole, almost anything!
I do not use the seasoning packet for this, but I save them. Does anyone have ideas to use the packets of seasoning from the ramen soup for? They seem to have a lot of salt in them. (When we make the soup, we use half of the seasoning.) Sis. Shanna
