These soups look great. I don't have time right now to look through all of them, but I've saved the site and I'll be back to come up with some supper ideas..

I make chicken soup in the winter as follows:
Cook up 1 fryer, cut up, leave on the skin and cook it on a slow simmer for about 5 hours. After that, cool the entire pot down and let it sit until the fat congeals on the top..(I just leave it overnight) In the morning, skim off that fat gob and debone the chicken. Then I add chopped celery, onions and a little carrot, sage, pepper to the broth and meat...I just cook that slowly until about 1/2 hour before we have supper, then I add noodles ( I make mine as my hubby likes the thicker noodles) and when they are about done, I do thicken up the broth with some cornstarch & water if needed. You can add some chicken soup base if there is not a lot of flavor. Sometimes I will plop on a few small dumplings, that seems to thicken it more without the cornstarch mix... I serve this with biscuits.
Enjoy... Sister Penny

The other night I told Ben that I was craving Homemade Chicken Soup! The next day you posted your delicious recipe, now I'm really wanting a hot bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup.
We are having a winter storm blast here. It's suppose to hit around 5 or 6 they tell us. Soup would be great! I hope we have some chicken, if not I'll have to wait until the 28th.
Lord Bless your day Penny!
Love, ~ Darlene ~

yumm, I really want to try that taco soup recipe!
here is one of our favorites: I use cauliflower instead of noodles it works great for us! It also has healthy non starchy veggies in it instead of corn, greenbeans, etc.
Turkey veggie soup: 4 cloves minced garlic 1white onion 2 T evoo 2Lbs 97%ground turkey breast(or chop up your own cooked turkey breast) 64oz Low sodium V8 large can of diced tomatoes undrained 2cups Losodium, lofat chicken broth 1/2 t oregano 1/2 t marjoram 1/2 t black pepper, pinch of salt 1/4 t red pepper flakes(optional, I leave out) 2 bay leaves frozen veggies: carrots, lima beans, okra, cauliflower
sautee garlic cloves and onion in evoo until onion is soft and clear add in turkey and brown add in v8, tomatoes add in chicken broth add in seasonings simmer for two hours covered
add in veggies 1 bag of each
simmer another 2-3 hours.
enjoy! remove bay leaf before serving!
