Basil Green Bean Parmesan
Butter or Margarine
Fresh or Frozen Green Beans steamed
Garlic minced
Onion finely chopped
Basil
Salt & Pepper
Parmesan Cheese
Saute onions and garlic in melted butter till onion is tender but not mushy. Add basil, salt and pepper. Pour our steam green beans and mix till beans are coated. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
I used to make green beans like this a lot. One time my sil called me and wanted to know how I made my green beans cause her son Justin told her that Aunt Laurie made the bestest green beans in the whole world. My Pastor and Evangelist Rich Tozour really like this too.

Creamed Peas
2 Tablespoons Butter
Onions chopped
About 1 Tablespoon flour
Salt, pepper, pinch of sugar
3/4 to 1 cup of milk
Steamed fresh or frozen peas
Saute onions in butter till tender but not mushy. Add flour salt and pepper maybe a dash of sugar if you like. Stir in milk slowly. Continue stiring over heat till it thickens and boils. Boil another minute then add steamed peas.

Cauliflower Cheese Casserole
1 Cauliflower about 1 1/2 lbs.
1 small Red Pepper
1 small green pepper
1 clove garlic minced
2 Tablespoons of cornstarch
1 1/12 cups of milk
3 tablespoons of butter or magarine
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 cip of shredded jack cheese, or white brick cheese
2 Tablespoons of fine dry bread crumbs
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
Separate cauliflower into flowerettes. Drop int boiling salted water. Cook 5 minutes or until tender crisp; drain. Arrange in shallow 2 qt. well buttered,
baking dish.
Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in frying pan. add red and green pepper, and garlic. Saute for 1 1/2 minutes. sprinkle over cauliflower.
Mix cornstarch into milk. Add 2 tablespoons of butter to frying pan. Stir in milk and cornstarch mixture; cook stirring until thickened. Add salt, pepper, and cheese. Stir until cheese is blended in. Pour over vegtables
Mix bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes
or cover and refrigerate. Bake 35 minutes if chilled.
