I'm not sure if anyone has clicked on the link on the main page yet proclaiming that Jesus didn't exist, but i did and it is interesting. Apparently the premise of this DVD is that we are deceived in who and what we believe Jesus to be...and not even the first century believers had the same beliefs that we have.
Obviously these are lies straight from the pits of hell, but i wanted to make you aware of this because there are some people who are going to buy this garbage and believe it. And those people may be friends, family or co-workers.
Just a heads up.

What will they come out with next! Always trying to disprove that God is real, that Christ can save and cleanse a soul and redeem it for all eternity, that the Bible has error if any truth at all... ( Blasphemy! ) No wonder folks are so confused. They have no foundation, they just build their house on TV, Sports, fads/ fashion, Humanistic thinking, wish washy preaching if any... ( sinking sand! ) And they believe a lie. It wont be long till we see Jesus!

I just came accross that ad today as I was acanning for news, although, I didn't actually click on the ad- all I had to do was read what the fool wrote on the ad. Well, they're going to have to cut my heart open and take Him out if He doesn't exist 'cause He's there no matter what they say. Of course, one day it may actually come to that (again) ;D (Baptist History is full of it) Bro. Tony

Well, i'm not too worried about anyone who is part of this forum fallling for this type of garbage...but i am worried about everyone else that we may know who would just as easily for this as they would fall for the lies of Muhammad or Joseph Smith.

(Baptist History is full of it) Bro. Tony[/quote] Bro Tony you should read a book called Martyrs Mirror sometime. On all the trials the Anabaptist went through in standing for the faith. Bro Randy

Ok, Martyers Mirror. Who's it by? I love reading about Baptist history, but I don't think I've ever heard of that book.
The Anabaptist brethren certainly seemed to be the ones that suffered the most intense persecution yet stayed true to the doctrines of the Bible (with some exceptions).
Sometimes I have felt that when I pastor a church, I will teach intense church history and then call for a vote to reorganize the church as an Anabaptist church. This because I would rather identify with them than what many know today as "Baptist." Hubmaier, Hatzer and Denck- great Anabaptist preachers of the 16/17th centuries would have been my friends, rather than the vile affections that many of today's preachers cling to.
But I really love to read of our heritage and history, even though it is full of the blood of martyrs. Please do let me know who the author of Matyrs Mirror is so that I may get a copy.
Thank you for the info.

It is written by Thieleman J. van Braght Tony if you have problems finding it let me know and I will give you some names of Christian book stores that have it. It is very popular in Mennonite circles.
