For those of you that do canning, my wife has come across a great way and still keep you kitchen cooler.
The other day while canning she had the glass top on our gas stove shatter, we went looking for a new stove , to much money , so desided to order a new top to the tune of 250.00. While at church today she asked some of the sister how they do their canning. and quite a few said they use an LP turkey fryer. In a 30 quart one you can get about 14 jars in it. So guess she is going to give that a try. You use it outside so all the heat stays out of the house, and with one big burner I am thinking the water will heat up rather fast.
