Hi everyone! I thought this would be interesting. I would love to learn more about home remedies. Darlene has told me that clove oil is good for teething babies. My closest health food store is a ways away but I am going to try it soon.
Glenda I was just reading on HH/PH that you crochet washcloths and that helps with your psoriasis. I have pathches of that on my knee and also at various spots all over my hands. Is this the only thing you use? Does it get rid of it? I'm trying not to go to the doctor as I don't have health insurance anymore. I know that stress aggravates psoriasis and i'm under a gret deal of that right now.
If anyone has anymore ideas I would love to hear them

I use the wash clothes and also homemade gylcerin soap. if you will email me your address i will send you out some washclothes and soap free. It will not heal the problem however it sure makes mine a lot better. I no longer have those patches of white flakes. My email address is in the members page. glenda

Hi Glenda
I have to confess after I read your post about the washcloths I got offline and went and made one before I went to bed. I would like to try the soap tho.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do for muscle cramps/spasms? Seems I am being plagued of late by them.

Hello,
Muscle cramps may be a sign you need more potassium. I am thinking you might check at a local vitamin/health food store for a supplement that will help. Of course, if this continues you may need to check with your doctor.
Praying you get better soon.

A friend of mine mentioned something about calcium. That could be it as I am still nursing my baby, can't remember to take my vitamins and don't hardly drink milk. I will have to try to do better.
A doctor gave me a prescription for Flexeril but I don't like to take it. It makes me very tired and affects the baby too. Not to mention that it is almost all gone.

I found something at walmart that seems to be working on my psoriasis. I forget the name but the active ingredient is coal tar. It doesn't smell good but sure did work quickly. It kind of burned on the spots that were the worst too.

Hi Jessie!
The name of the stuff is Psoriasin Gel. I found it in the first aid section of Walmart. Like i said it worked but it did burn a little. I had a prescription for a steriod called mometasone from the doc. It worked but it is about gone. Best to you.
