I recently had a sore throat starting up and I went to Wal Mart looking for Zinc lozenges, well I did not find them but I found these sootherbs! I saw a few others but they were called '' homeopathic '' ( which I steer clear of )
I bought these Sootherbs which are lozenges that are sort of grainy, I thought I would not like the taste and feel of them in my mouth, but they are actually good. I bought the cherry flavor Sootherbs have... Vitamin C 100 mg of ( which is really not that much) Zinc 10 mg Echinaccea 25 mg Wild Cherry bark extract 25 mg Citrus bioflavonoids 25 mg You are supposed to take 1 every 3-4 hours. Let it dissolve in your mouth. I also took with it...Emer'gen- C which is powdered Vit C you put in 6 oz of cold water and dissolve it and drink. I take this every 2 to three hours until I feel like it has worked usually I do not have to take it more than a day. It really kicks out sickness. We give this to everyone in our family even the little ones. It is good to keep both of these products in your purse for ready use in the cold months! I know that gargling with Apple Cider Vinegar is also very good and effective for sore throats. Love, ~ sister Darlene~

We also use apple cider vinegar for upset stomach. When the stomach virus is going around, taking a tablespoon of the apple cider vinegar will help the nausea and usually keeps me or Mark from vomiting. I am not sure why this works, but it really does. In Him, Sis. Shanna

I have heard wonderful things about Apple Cider Vinegar.
I think we as a family are going to start taking it daily. Interesting fact I found!FOOD POISONING:
There have been many cases where people who were in the habit of taking cider vinegar regularly never suffer any side effects from food poisoning. The cider vinegar has an antiseptic quality which seems to render noxious food harmless. That's it!... The cider vinegar has an antiseptic quality.... That's why it helps knock out my Grandmothers sore throat and your upset stomach, and sister Amy's flu symptoms on the other thread about (Using God's wonderful herbs to heal)
