I think that your tract presents your thoughts very clearly, and thus is successfully written. But are you sure that a tract is what someone's looking for?
Whenever I've gone to ask a stranger a question, it's not so that I can be handed something to read. It's so that I can connect with them on a human level, engage in a real conversation. Admittedly, not everyone has the time for it at the time that I ask, so sometimes a tract would be handy. Just don't be too quick to hand them out if you're not pressed for time, unless the person is someone that you genuinely don't want to talk to (because you fear for your safety with them, for instance). It might be the case that instead of actually wanting to know about the hat, they're just wanting to talk to a fellow human being because they feel lonely and disconnected, and are looking for a chat with someone who might one day become a friend.

Hi, Divash! Thanks for the advice. I totally recognize the need to have a conversation with people instead of just stuffing a tract their way. The main way I've been using these is to give to people after a conversation when I have to leave. Yours in Christ, Sarah
