I haven't tried this yet but I'm going to soon, If you have a recipe to add please share it. Homemade Chamomile Shampoo 2 Tb pure soap flakes 2 bags chamomile tea ( or try other herbal teas of your choice) 3/4 Tb glycerin boil 3/4 cup water, then add tea bags let steep for 15 to 20 min, let cool, take out tea bags, add pure soap flakes, then add glycerin. Shampoo hair and enjoy. It will keep 1 week in fridge.

I have been using 1T. b. soda in 1 cup warm water, to wash my hair and 1/4 t. honey in 1cup warm water for conditioner, you can leave the honey in or rinse out. This works really well for me. If you have alot of build up on your hair it may take a couple weeks for this to work good, although it worked right away for me. I also put a little aloe gel in my hair to give it some weight so my hair combs stay in as my hair is fine and thin. For some reason when I try the vinegar on my hair it looks like I didn't wash it. I went to the store and found the soap flakes (Dreft), they cost 10.00 but it will make tons of shampoo at 2 TB a batch.
I'm not sure if I will use the glycerin or not, I do have some on hand.
I'm going to add tea tree to mine instead of Chamomile.
I'll tell you how it goes in a couple of weeks when I purchase the Dreft soap flakes.
My first project in the next few days when I run out of washing detergent is to make my own. I bought my washing soda at Kroger just like you said ( Thank you) and I have borax, I bought glycerin soap Dial ,white tea and Vit E. We'll see how that goes.
Dryer sheets would be nice, to help with static and to add a delightful smell.
We love using baking soda for many different things, I'm going to give your shampoo a try.
When I make the other shampoo I'm going to also use it as body wash.
