Tomorrow our church is having a mother daughter tea. The theme is going to be sowing and reaping. Today our pastors wife asked me to read the following tomorrow. I thought I would post this and at the same time wish all the mothers on this board a happy mothers day.
When You Thought I Wasn't Looking by Teresa Kelderhouse When you thought I wasn't looking, you hung my first painting on the refrigerator, and I wanted to paint another one. When you thought I wasn't looking, you fed a stray cat, and I thought it was good to be kind to animals. When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you make my favorite cookies just for me, and I knew that little things are special things. When you thought I wasn't looking, I heard you say a prayer, and I believer there is a God that I could always talk to. When you thought I wasn't looking, I felt you kiss me good night and I felt loved. When you thought I wasn't looking I saw tears come from your eyes, and I learned sometimes things hurt but it's all right to cry. When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw that you cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be. When you thought I wasn't looking, I Looked... and I wanted to say thanks for all the things I saw when you thought I wasn't looking.

Thank you Lisa, that was precious. I needed that.
Children are a precious gift from God. May we always strive to be a blessing and encouragement to them.
I am so thankful for all the children the Lord has blessed me with.
I had the best mothers day ever...really.
All my children spent the day with me, they all found many ways to bless their mother. My day was full and so was my heart. Time does not stand still, it is forever moving, things do not stay the same. We must enjoy the short time we have with our precious children.
Thank you Lord for your abundant blessings on me...and thank you dear sister Lisa for the sweet poem you shared with us mothers.
Love and Prayers, ~ sister Darlene ~ still praying for your dear mother, I sure hope she had a blessed mothers day.
