Wow that is not bad at all.. As far as the cost of mine I have to be honest with you it did not cost me anything. I got it from a dear friend for my birthday last year.. It was such a wonderful birthday gift and boy has it been used..
I am going to let gerald know about yours he might want to get me one like that.. I mean it would be great for the heavy jeans and such that the boys and gerald wear...
As far as the difference i am not sure. I know that mine says it is good for any fabric so other than that i have no idea... Now as far as the size it is the large one. I have seen the small ones and well with my family and the size of our clothes i do not think a small one would be right for us..
We had a stomach virus everyone alot of my little ones threw up on their blankets and comforters. Blankets are easy to wash but the comforters are very heavy! My washer is still broken...it sure would be helpful for these heavy items. We bought a part for 28.00, but it did not fix my washer... Well keep trying...The two comforters are still hanging on the line in the back yard. I'll try and hand wash them soon with help.
I will still wash all our clothes by hand after the washer is fixed, because I enjoy it so much. The only thing I'll use my washer for is jeans and comforters and heavy rugs.
I really like polar fleece blankets, they are light weight easy to wash and come clean easily. They are very warm and they fold easily and do not take up much space when stored on a shelf.
Another helpful tip: I use a finger nail brush to scrub out stains...I just rub on Zote and scrub with the little brush. It works great! I put my wash board in the sink drape the garment over and apply Zote and scrub...It's as easy as that! Stains come right out. I find that Zote works better than spray n wash.
I bought some Go Jo at Wal Mart it was a lg tub for .98 cents it says it gets out stains on clothes. I haven't tried it yet. You apply it to dry clothing.
What a blessing the Plain and Simple life is to me. I know it's not something everyone would enjoy, but I sure am getting a blessing! The simple joys of life.
