Hey! Ladies here is a site where I found a great deal on a Dyna Jet Laundry wringer, it's the kind Glenda has. She says it works really well it doesn't mess up zippers, pull off buttons or stretch your clothes.

I'll buy my Wash Board at Wiseman ...WASHBOARD SUNNYLAND 12.25 inchX 24 inch $14.50
Hopefully buy next summer I'll have a outside wash area for the days I can wash outside. Of course there is gardening , canning, and now ringer washing. These are neat things to learn how to do. These are lost arts, or frugal living talents. Who knows one day we might need to know how to be self sufficient. I will still enjoy the convience of an ele washer and dryer, but it will be a blessing to learn how to use the wash board and wringer and to have the joy of teaching my 6 daughters this lost art.
We are learning many more things like...
crocheting, My daughter found out how to make doilies, I figured out how to make pot holders and a winter bonnet (there warm )
sewing our own clothes, My two oldest daughters can sew dresses now.
altering patterns,
cooking,
baking,
gardening
canning, jams, fruits, vegitables, meats, meals you cook for yor family can be canned, dried beans, etc...
grinding wheat and making bread ( Mmmm )
dehydrating fruits, vegitables, and meat.
rug making,
crafts for gifts,
letter writting ( us mail ),
oh yes and soap making ( with lye ),
next it will be candle making.
We are starting our first Quilt ( we do not know what were doing) It will turn out ok. I've heard others talking about how to do it.

These are profitable things to learn.
