Hello everyone.... I am not sure if anyone ever listens to Dr. Dobson, but we do sometimes. I do not agree with everything that I hear, but sometimes I will hear something good. As I have heard it said on the board..... "get the meat and spit out the bones" anyway..... Focus on the Family had....Finding Jesus on the Streets
The below is what I will copy and paste right from the site.....
Finding Jesus on the Streets, Pt 1 Tuesday, July 05, 2005 What would it be like to live five months, homeless and broke? Would you find Jesus on the streets of America? Author Mike Yankoski tells Dr. James Dobson about his journey as a homeless man — and how he found Christ in the most unusual of places. Don’t miss his unforgettable story!
Passport To The Unknown
From Washington, D.C., to San Diego, Mike and his traveling companion, Sam, journeyed as homeless men for five months. Needing to know if his faith in God was genuine apart from a comfortable existence, Mike and Sam became citizens of a foreign land: homeless America.
In the interview Mike refers to 1 Corinthians 9:20.... And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law.
