A very simple exercise that really helps with overeating is to journal EVERYTHING you eat during the day. Get a little pocket notebook and a little pen that you can carry with you always. Write everything down right as you sit (or stand) to eat it. Read over your notebook at the end of the day, writing down how you feel. You can also write down what you are feeling (both emotionally and physically) before, during and after each thing you eat. As you read through your journal, you can think "did I really need to eat that?", "was there a healthier alternative", etc. A good way to track nutritional info is by using www.fitday.com or www.nutridiary.com. Both sites are pretty much the same - both are free - and both will help you track nutritional info as well as exercise/activity, weight loss, etc. Remember too that raw fruits and veggies are super good for you

Dear JoAnne...Thank you for your kind advice...That is what I have been doing on my diet or I should say my different approach to eating...I write every thing down and even a praise to my Lord...I can't believe how fast your food points add up when you don't write them down and keep track of them...Thanks again...Love Sis Debbie
