my question is simply this: What are some gentle ways to reach those who have been spiritually disemboweled by people in the ministry and churches? even those who have had bad experienced outside of ministry by those who claimed to be Christians?

The first way to be a gentle help is to be a consistent believer in their presence, and to lift them up in prayer.
Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Also, point them to Jesus, not creed, denomination, or dogma. I am not saying anything against whatever church one is going to, but usually people who have been hurt by a leader or a group do not want to hear about a particular "church," that is why I recommend pointing them to the Lord Jesus himself.
Psa 143:8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Another good medicine is to give them reinforcing verses from scripture, it is an essential building block to a good relationship with the Lord.
Psa 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
Just a couple of thoughts that come to mind.
Bro. Ben
