2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
There are two types of fruit seen in this world today in the "Christian community". You have the real, genuine fruit of the spirit. It smells good, tastes good, looks good, is good. Then you have the waxed fruit. Looks good....looks good....looks good, and that is it. It is deceiving because from a distance it looks just like the real thing, but the closer you get, you can not smell it, taste it and it definitely doesn't give you nourishment. I also hear people say that we should be fruit inspectors. It isn't our job to be judges of others fruit. The Bible says in Mt 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
That is being aware of waxed fruit, not going around inspecting everyones fruit. We should be fruit inspectors of ourselves.
