Here are some crochet patterns I designed. I hope you will enjoy crafting as much as I do.
Also I hope you can understand my pattern instructions. A few people in my family crochet but thay can not read patterns from me or books so I do not know if my patterns are understandable by anyone besides me.
Bun cover (as a covering if you prefer that or as a hairnet kind of thing under your covering)
H hook and cotton yarn or worsted weight yarn
Rnd1: Ch4. slip st to join and make ring. Ch2. 12DC in ring. join. Rnd2: CH2. 1dc in first st, 2dc in nxt. [1DC in nxt, 2DC in nxt]. repeat from [ to ].
Rnd3-5: Ch2. 2DC in first 1DC in nxt. [2Dc in nxt, 1DC in nxt] repeat. around. join. Rnd 6: CH2. 1DC in first , 2DC in nxt. [1DC in nxt, 2DC in nxt] repeat around. join.
Cut a 12inch long piece of elastic 1/8" wide or whatever size you need and weave it through the last row. Tie or sew elastic ends and hide ends. Stretch over bun and secure with bobby pins if you did not use a hairnet over bun first. You can alsso weave in a ribbon or yarn string instead of elastic and tie it after you put the bun cover on.
You can make the covering any size just measure the distance over your bun. Mine is 7 1/4" and I make a flat bun and this size pattern fits me.
