My Mom and I got a sewing machine to share for Christmas last year from Dad. It has 7 different button hole stitches on it. I finally braved using the button hole feature a few days ago. On our old sewing machine it always tangled on the button hole stitch and broke the needle and part of the needle always flew at me and it took a long time to untangle the bobbin. Thankfully the new sewing machine works great. I should have tried button holes a long time ago instead of dreading it. We are definitely Blessed!

That's great! It's always nice when your machine works like it is supposed to.

I have a Brother CS6000i and it does great buttonholes too. I always am nervous before I start a row of buttonholes and I still say a quick prayer before every one I sew. Now for invisible zippers!

That's great! It's always nice when your machine works like it is supposed to. Computer programmers have an expression, "Machines should work, people should think." It's called the "IBM Pollyanna Principle" Guess why
