My wife Marie and I are down to very, very little money. I am NOT asking anyone here for money. I am asking that all who will to please pray for us concerning this matter. A lot of things are coming due and we have nowhere near enough to make ends meet.
Presently I am having trouble with my feet, having messed up the muscles/ligaments in my left foot and not sure what all I've done to my right one. Walking or standing for 20 minutes or so will have me in a lot of pain and limping. I am trying to get some help through the county medical services but they are not a lot of help.I also have a non-cancerous tumor that cause me pain that I cannot get removed because I have no money or insurance. All prayer appreciated.

That almost sounds like Plantar Fascitis (not sure of the spelling on the second word). I think that's what I have in mine too. They are killing me! Do you get shooting pains through the arch of your foot? Sometimes they keep me awak because of it.
I can certainly sympathize with you. My hubby lost his job in November and just finally got back to work. We went through all our savings trying to keep us afloat. I had my disability hearing (finally!) and they denied me for the last time so I'm done now. Can't do anything about it. They refuse to believe that I was disabled at the time of my "date last insured". My doctor even says I cannot work but they don't pay any attention to what your doctor say. Will definitely pray for your situation. I have walked and still walking in those same shoes.

Pam, yes that is what the doctor thinks it is. Not sure what is up with the right one. However, she didn't even look at it so it is guess work. I have to see her again at the end of the month (for high blood pressure )so I will see if I can see a podiatrist. I sure don't trust this "doctor" a whole lot but it is all I can do to afford it. The county services only charges $25.00 a visit. By April I will not even have that much money, maybe sooner.Thank you for praying for us.

Brother, I will definitely lift you and your wife, Marie, and your financial and medical situations up to the Lord. My husband and I have experienced financial trials recently, ourselves. God showed us His amazing power and grace by making provisions in ways we would have never imagined and we grew closer to Him, and each other, during those trials. May the peace of the Lord be upon you.

Brother, I am praying here for you as I have had about 8 surgeries on my feet to correct that condition, remove bunions, cut my achilles to loosen up the leg flexation and implant screws into my toes to keep them straight,
It is very painful, the bone spurs and all the pressure one endures just walking is unbelievable.
See if you can get SS disability or some type of medical coverage through your state to get it repaired.
I will be praying for His Hand to interceed.
Bless you, Sister Penny

Thank you, Sister Penny. I go to the doctor at the county clinic Friday. I am going to ask to see a podiatrist, which I was told is the next step if the therapy didn't work. As it hasn't helped one bit, I am hoping I can get someone who knows what they are doing in regards to feet. The clinic doctor hasn't inspired me with any confidence. Her attitude is "get'em in, get'em out, asap!" Right now my left foot is hurting so much walking is difficult. I can't hope to hold a job if I have so much trouble walking.

Though we don't enjoy their call, do you have any telemarketers in the area? That's a job one can do sitting. I have foot and leg pain also, I just take a BC and limp on.

My wife and I appreciate all prayers. Today I was told they will "try" to see if I can get into a program that will enable me to see a podiatrist. They said my blood pressure is too high and now I have meds for that. I can't say I am real happy about these things but I will keep on going.

I have not been on in awhile for very long, but your wife and you were on my mind recently. I will pray for your family, and my dh and I can relate to the financial situation. Please ask the hospitals about indigent care or a mission clinic, my area has both. Sometimes they have mobile units that to give checkups. Also I had a friend who donated blood to get a free mini checkup with labs. Her husband was a missionary and she had no insurance on herself.

Thank you, kscarle. I am going to the county clinic and waiting to see what they will be able to do. So far they have done well for my wife who had a knee problem. I have to wait to see if I can see a podiatrist on a certain program. If I get in, then we shall procede. If not then I will look at alternatives. This clinic is close by so it works well with our limited money for gas.
