Other than more bill collectors calling more often, nothing has changed. Of course, more rejection letters have come in. Can't prove it is age related but I'm wondering about it. We do feel very thankful for all that pray for us.

Brother, Where are you located at? I am wondering if there are any schools there for displaced folks looking for work? I know here in Michigan they offer free job training for any new career..however, when you are in my age bracket, 50 plus it gets harder as they would rather pay the younger people for a lot less instead of paying based on good experience.
I would also check out any churches, for jobs, some have folks who might need gardening, or lawns mowed, anything...even at one point my friend, who was desperate for money took in laundry and ironing.
I am praying for you all.. Sister Penny

One of my problems is trouble standing/walking on concrete floors for long periods of time. I used to do that a lot when I worked in warehouses and such. Now because of foot problems about 2 hours and I'm done. The pain is intense when I push myself to do this. I have other situations that I won't get into that cause problems. Just seems sometimes like I am no more than a collection of problems surronded by weak flesh!

My grandpa has alot of foot problems and he got foot braces. He just couldn't stand up for very long, so his doctor recommended it, so he went and ordered some and they help tremendously! Jordyn

I don't know if foot braces would help. My left foot has a bad heel spur. I have a knot from a damaged Achilles tendon. Surgery is indicated but that has to wait until I have the money. I also broke a bone in it a few years ago and I think it may not have healed well. This is speculation on my part based on where it hurts. I'm certainly no doctor. Maybe it is just going to hurt because it was broken before. My right foot just has some arthritis and it comes and goes as long as I don't push it. But, a lot of time on hard surfaces and it lets me know about it.
I used to like to take long walks to pray and just clear my head. Now, after a mile or so, my feet are killing me.
