I'm new here. I live in northern California with my husband and my 3 children ages 20, 21 and 24. My 21 yr old daughter lives on her own. My 24 yr old son will be getting married in October. We're city dwellers and I work for the state of California. We currently go to a non denominational church however I used to go to Assemblies of God. Always been interested in Plain living and the lifestyle. Been wearing a handkerchief covering since last September and will start to wear the Mennonite type of coverings as I just ordered a few from an on line store. I like to quilt and paper craft making greeting cards. I'm the only one in my home and at my church who covers. We currently fellowship in a church that runs about 500. Its a little large for me but my husband is happy there and me and my children are active in various types of ministry there. Usually wear skirts/tops to work but have a new cape dress pattern I'm going to make dresses for. Boy, I sure get some looks with my head coverings at work. A few people have respectfully asked me about them. I'm sure when I start wearing the Mennonite kapps I'll get more questions. Anyway, I'm not a perfect person and haven't always lived the Christian life as I should but now I try to be on the strait and narrow. Glad to find a website with other like minded believers. Even though I live in the city my heart yearns to live in the country. Glad to meet you all.

Consider the hanging veil (covering) I believe it is truer to the biblical teaching. The Greek word for covering implies both covers, and hangs down. A cap does not do that (no offense to those who choose to go that route, just some food for thought.) Either way, welcome on board. Bro. Ben
