I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Gal. 2:20
The more I release "self life" and embrace the "crucified life" the more content I become with whatever God in his sovereignty brings my way. I am my own worst enemy. If the Lordship of Jesus Christ is true, and it is, I have NO rights. The sooner I accept that the sooner my life can mature into that of a disciple.
Learn to know Christ and him crucified. Learn to sing to him, and say, "Lord Jesus, you are my righteousness, I am your sin. You have taken upon yourself what is mine and given me what is yours. You have become what you were not so that I might become what I was not." --Martin Luther
