According to reports, phenomenal revival is occurring in northern Indiana.
The movement - called Revive Indiana - is led by the ministry Time to Revive, based in Dallas, Texas. They've brought revival events to 12 states so far as they seek to stir the Church. But something different is happening in the Hoosier State, according to Anne Reed, writer for AFA Journal.
"You had Amish coming together with Mennonites and all the other denominations, and it was just amazing to see the peace that was exhibited,” she tells OneNewsNow. ‘If I had to wrap it up all in one word, it would have to be just Christian warmth."
Reed spent a few days in Indiana and says for nearly two months people had been meeting together for breakfast, prayer and worship. Then they would hit the streets sharing the Good News in homes, factories and schools.
"One of the things that I observed was just going in and anointing the hands of the factory workers, praying over them,” she shares. “I went with one group to a high school, and they had an optional assembly and about one-fifth of the students showed up for that optional assembly. There were five or six who actually gave their lives to Christ that day."
Reed says she was amazed by the organization and generosity of the believers in northern Indiana, likening it to the Church described in Acts 2.
