Voters in Montana will have a chance to tell lawmakers they don't want boys showering with their daughters in a new petition.
There has been a big push in Montana to let boys and men use facilities for the opposite gender if they simply say they are transgender. Jeff Laszloffy, who heads the Montana Family Foundation, tells OneNewsNow his group is helping to bring the issue to the legislature in the form of the Montana Locker Room Privacy Act. Residents must join in petitioning for it to get on the ballot for a vote.
"This is important because the Montana School Boards Association, the Montana High School Association, and the Obama administration have tried to cram gender-identity regulation onto the state of Montana," Laszloffy says.
