Can you please explain what John means, "but you have an unction from the Holy One, and know all things", and "you need no one to teach you because the Spirit teaches you"?

This is to be taken in context of the entire paragraph:
1Jo 2:18 ΒΆ Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1Jo 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would [no doubt] have continued with us: but [they went out], that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
1Jo 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
1Jo 2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
1Jo 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1Jo 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [(but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also].
The context reveals that those who know the truth are those who know the Father through a saving relationship with the Son. The "all" of verse 20 doesn't mean "ALL" things, but all the things John taught them about WHO Christ was. Those who do not know Christ were antichrists and false teachers and didn't KNOW what they were talking about as compared to those who knew HIM and thus knew "all" the important things.
Many did not get the fact that Jesus of Nazareth was Deity in the flesh. Like many today they only saw a wise teacher, not The Son of God and God the Son.
