Brothers and sisters, I am currently at a loss as to what to write to place in the Restoration Place area of the forums. I am working on an expositon of the word "forgiveness" as found in the Bible.
However I am open to suggestions. As you are all aware I love to write on Bible topics. If you have any questions or suggestions that you would like me to address please let me know. There is nothing that lightens up my day as doing Bible research and writing.
God has obviously given the gift of doing such. I really, really like to employ that gift so that I can share the fruits with others. Please feel free to let me know if there is anything you would like me to address.
In Christ, George

Hi, brother George! I've got one for you This is kind of a question more than a topic, but I'd love it answered either way. Why does the Holy Spirit seem to work in a different way than it used to? I mean, there were healings, spontaneous speaking in tongues, etc in the past, and yet today we don't have those things. We certainly do have the Holy Spirit convicting us and leading us, but does He work differently today? Were the signs just for that time? I suppose a study on the Holy Spirit would be beneficial to me, too Love in Christ, Little sister Sarah

Brother George, I remember hearing Dr. Hyles (we loved the doc, and he was a blessing, God rest his soul,) and he used to say most Christians don't lack from going "deeper", but from a lack of meat and potatoes. I think it would be a blessing to read over some nuts and bolts teaching and disciplship, i.e., how to get the most out of my bible reading, the abc's of a good prayer life, etc. Here is a good one, in light of sky rocketing gas and grocery prices and talk of recession, how about fear and trusting God. We'll be in prayer for the Lord to lead you. Thank you for these great and challenging articles so far.
Bro. Ben
