Brother Ben, would you kindly consider posting what your thoughts are on Revelation 17? I have traditionally taken the attitude that I don't really care that much about eschatology because if I die today I will go to heaven and if Jesus comes back soon I will go to heaven so the things of Revelation don't really concern me.
However recently I have taken an interest in those things. I believe the Holy Spirit has decided it is time for me and that I can understand and accept the things found in Revelation.
I have been reading the Bible, Albert Barnes (Barnes Notes,) John Gill and Jameson, Faucett, Brown in order to try to get a grasp on what it is actually telling us in Revelation 17. However I trust you and your judgment implicitly and would sincerely appreciate it if you could take time from your busy schedule to address some of the things in that Chapter.
In Christ, George
(Galatians 5:1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

I will gladly post my thoughts on this chapter as soon as possible.
Learn to know Christ and him crucified. Learn to sing to him, and say, "Lord Jesus, you are my righteousness, I am your sin. You have taken upon yourself what is mine and given me what is yours. You have become what you were not so that I might become what I was not." --Martin Luther
