Sister Samantha, I have made it many times, you can to go www.soapnuts.com they have a huge library of free recipes or use an easy one that is 1/3 soft oil, like coconut, 1/3 beeswax and 1/3 of cocoa butter.. That is one I have made many times in the past, for flavoring if you so desire that, you can add just a toothpick dip of a candy flavoring, I used Wilton's, or leave it plain.. God bless, Sister Penny

Hi Ladies, I've never made chapstick, I just use Vasoline. A little on the tip of my finger, spread on my lips lasts a good long time. Works on cracked heals too. Have a blessed day, Carole

Dear sister Carole,
That's funny you said cracked heels... We have calloused heels around here too , we go bare foot.
After a hot shower or bath we take sand paper and lightly sand our heels and then put Vaseline or Bag Balm on them and put on ankle socks until it soaks in. This works really well.
My little 5 year old son came to me yesterday with a hand full of little cardboard (Emory board looking things) things he had made and put Elmer's glue and sand on them...He said with shining little eyes,...'' I made these for you to sand your heels " What a darling, thinking of his mommy like that. He got down on the floor beside me and started ''sanding my heels'' Sand started crumbling off. I said , '' is it working? ''....He said ,'' yes! '' He took these pieces of cardboard from the chicken boxes my baby peeps came in, these were factory cuts made for breathing holes. Isn't my little man smart. He got the sand from his sand pile out back.
Sorry for the BIG WHITE gap...I'm still learning how to use paint shop and photo bucket.
My daughter said that's the results of not having a TV.
Love, ~ sister Darlene ~
