I went to the Weight Watchers meeting last Sat morning. I was so excited, I thought they could give me some sound advise and suggestions and that I would find encouragement in my endeavor to loose weight and start exercising and that someone there could help me figure out a plan that was right for me. Not so.
The meeting was interesting, but worldly, meaning the instructor mentioned being divorced many times and made jokes about it. I think that her divorce really bothers her and shes just trying to cover up her true emotions. She was a nice lady and dedicated to her job, but I found it hard to relate to her story's. She talked alot about overeating and told how if you buy a dozen doughnuts and eat half the box how your not going to loose weight...everyone broke out in laughter...I could not relate. I felt a little out of place.
After the meeting I talked to the lady leading the meeting afterwords and told her that I want to loose some weight and start exercising too. I told her that I eat all natural healthy foods she put me on the Core plan, she explained how you do not use the points system, that you just eat when your hungry and eat until you feel satisfied not full. Well that sounds great! Theres only one problem...I do not get hungry and I feel satisfied before I even start eating. I can go until 11:00 or even two sometimes before I start feeling light headed, sometimes my face feels numb, and when I eat I sometimes feel nauseous. She did not know what to tell me or how to help me. She just said follow the plan.....So I left feeling confused as to when and how much and what to eat.
Monday I called the head office to see if they could help me and the lady treated me like I had the plague, or a disease, or major illness. I think their only use to dealing with over eaters not under eaters. Both are not healthy and both cause you to not loose weight. When someone under eats their body goes into starvation mode. The body's metabolism is shut down and they do not loose weight. She said she was going to refund my money and that I need to go see my doctor. That they can't help me. So that was that.
Ben returned my introduction package today. I got a phone call today from the office from another lady trying to talk me into staying saying ...am I sure I want to not attend the meetings and get my money back? I told her I never wanted to stop all I wanted was some advice on what to do to get my metabolism working. I told her my problem with not feeling hungry...etc. I told her that I am healthy and that my energy level is good and that I feel fine, my problem is I do not get hungry and my metabolism is slow. She said I could attend for 4 weeks and see what I learn. She said She would refund my money after that. I told her that I wanted to just get a refund and that I was going to create a plan that was right for me. She was pleasant and wished me the best, she said I sounded determined and that she knew I could loose weight and reach my goal. So I'll be getting a full refund.
I've been researching weight lose and fitness for a week now.
I am going to eat 8 small meals a day and eat healthy choices. This is hard for me to eat so much and so many times.
I am going to walk every day working up to more every couple of days,
I am going to jump on my mini trampoline ( boing...boing )
I'm going to ride my exercise bike while sitting in front of the air conditioner. ;D
I hoed the garden yesterday until I got a blister
Today I'm going to mow the grass.
I might use the points system
I have a George Foreman grill ( whoever he is...I do not want or need to know) I like the way it cooks meat.
I am going to do a colan cleanse too, I've never been able to do this before, because I am always pregnant or nursing.
I take a good all natural liquid vitamin
I drink plenty of water
I'm trying to eat yogurt and drink juice every day and eat fresh fruit too, I either have fruit or juice.
Well thats whats going on with me. I also have a copy of the book called "I Must Decrease" by Janice Thompson I am going to read her encouraging advice every day. I'm also writing down what I eat and I'm keeping a journal.
Please pray that the weight just drops off and that I do not acquire any health problems while changing my eating and activity lifestyle.
