Dear friends,
I am 4 1/2 months (18 weeks and 1 day today!), I still feel very sick, but our precious baby is growing well and is healthy, we have already felt movement. So nice to feel the baby. We are so thankful for the gift the Lord is sending our way.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
Love, ~ sister Darlene ~

I will gladly pray for you and your precious reward. I would like to ask prayer for a baby also. We have always had problems conceiving. I have a real hormone imbalance that is, as of yet, unexplained. I am taking all things herbally and also taking prescription progesterone. Please pray to our Lord on my behalf. We so desire to have more children. Our son is also praying as he would love to have a sibling. I know that God can! Even with my hormones that do not work right I trust He can. I have never really asked others for prayer on this but I believe I have found good ground to sow that seed now and my asking will not be left at just that, but truly prayed about.

Asking the Lord to send you a quiver full of children Sister Vanassa. In the Bible many ladies sought the Lord to bless them with a child or with more children Hannah and Rachel just to name a few. I can put myself in there as well. I too had problems with hormones and other things. But I prayed a lot and now have 3 wonderful sons to show for it. I wish I could've had a lot more, but I am thankful for the 3 God granted me. So...I'm praying for you dear Sister! Blessings and prayers, Sister Pamela

Dear sister,
I will pray for you dear sister for the Lord to bless your womb with a precious child.
I pray this for sister Gail in England here on this sight as well.
Thank you all so much for your prayers. I have gotten really sick with all 9 of my previous pregnancies but it has never lasted this long before. It gets really hard not being able to leave your recliner all day, just walking to the bathroom is a chore. I can't even think straight, I can't even read, I just sit there feeling really undone, really funny in the head. I feel mildly sick today and I am so thankful for the break and encouragement. I have had a few mildly sick days lately. Maybe the sickness is almost over.
I love my precious baby growing within me.
Love, ~ sister Darlene ~

Darlene, when I had the nausea I would drink ginger ale cold or hot ginger tea and it helped me quite a bit. Our homestead made me keep going so I found those two things were a boon and got me through the worst of it.

Sister Darlene I want you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. My youngest child is 35 years old now, but I still remember the months of disabling nausea and fatigue that I went through with all my pregnancies. Nothing seemed to help me so I just waited as patiently as I could until it was time for delivery! I would gladly do it again, but at the same time I'm glad the years of childbearing have past now. Those memories of discomfort are certainly sweetened every time I get to visit with my dear children. I know you feel the same way. I can tell you are a wonderful mother and love your family very dearly. It is an honor and blessing to know you if even by computer! I found myself talking to a friend the other day and relaying to her about "my friend" Darlene. Hope you don't mind! It is so good to read your posts again, I know you probably feel like you have a hundred other things calling for your attention, but it is good to hear from you. Take care of yourself and let the family help you as much as possible so you can be rested up! Blessings and Prayers, Sister Pamela

Sister Vanessa, I will be praying that the Lord will bless you with a precious little one soon. My I give you a friendly warning about prescription progesterone creme It increase your chances for breast cancer by ten percent for every year you you take it. It also increases your chances for getting a heart attack or stroke. The other problem with taking progesterone natural or proscription is that any time you take something that your body should be making on its own it causes your body to make even less of it and if you take it long enough it will cause your body to stop making it all together making you worse off than you were in the beginning. I work with a midwife that has helped many women with a hormone problem get pregnant. the supplement she uses is natural. It is called pit lyph whole. This product causes the body to make the progesterone or any other hormones it needs to conceive and maintainer the pregnancy. It is perfectly safe for the baby. an excellent book that I would recommend is Every Women's Herbal it discusses women's problems and tells natural things you can do to overcome them. It goes into a lot of pregnancy problems. Blessing to You Lisa

Sis. Darlene, I have yet to reply here. So sorry. Everytime I get on the board I mean to post and tell you how happy I am for you all and let you know that I'm praying for you. But I always seem to get sidetracked and don't get a chance to get around to all of the board. So finally I have a chance. ;D .. I am always thinking of you all and wondering how you are coming along in your pregnancy. When I first read your post here in this thread, I had a dream that I too was expecting. .. Unfortunately I can no longer have children so I was soooo disappointed when I woke up and realized it was a dream! .. Thanks for keeping us updated. Take care of yourself.

19 weeks and 2 days ...145 days to go! I feel good a little and then I feel oh so sick, I think I feel sicker than ever, I even go to bed sick hardly able to go to sleep. When I have good moments I feel pretty good, I never know when the sickness will come on or really how to control or help it. I've tried just about everything. I am so thankful to be pregnant though...this sickness will be gone and in the past before I know it, time is flying by so fast.
Thank you so much for your love, and prayers, it comforts me to know that brethren care and they are praying.
We still haven't been able to tell family members, we probably wont this time. That hurts I need their love, and support but it's just not there. We miss that as a family. It's lonely at times. Christian brethren are dear to us, but they are not truly needy or lonely, they have family to fill the gaps and needs. We try to reach out to others and be a blessing and meet needs, but we find there is not many thirsty or needy for fellowship, or the blessings we give. People appreciate the kind thoughts and words, but they are not truly needy. The love of many shall wax cold. This is so true.
On a brighter note we have started to feel our precious baby move...I love that. I feel it often throughout the day. A few weeks ago I honked the horn and it gave a strong kick. ;D I can hardly believe the Lord has opened my womb again and blessed in such a wonderful way. We are all so excited. It wont be long.
Love, ~ sister Darlene ~ I'm praying for your health Andrea.
