We had a double baptism this weekend. One of our daughters made a decision for Christ a little while back and the other just last week. Our friend arranged where we could use their church for our service. We took this new family picture outside. It was a blessed day. The Smith Family October 2009 (Minus our Benjamin and plus Little Girl Smith in Mama's womb!) Two happy girls anticipating baptism!

Oh happy day!...when Jesus washed their sins away, and brought them into His fold. One happy Daddy and Mama here.
We had a lovely, beautiful, joy filled day. Our precious neighbors across the street came, (Mary Frances and Wane....please pray for them her sugar is over 400 ''she's diabetic , and Wayne had prostrate Cancer and is suppose to be over it but hasn't been feeling himself lately, he also has been loosing his eye sight, and had a small wreck, he ran off the road with Mary Francis in the vehicle, they are both fine, but he has found he needs cataract surgery. she is 67 (she had open heart surgery last year and is in poor health.), he is 72. We love them, and do not want them to die.), Our friend Boyd came, he took the pictures and videoed the Baptism, Boyd's adult son Micheal tapped the message, he is the youth pastor at the church we Baptized in, Micheal's pastor let s use the church and baptistery from 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm, and filled and heated the Baptistery, he said that the little baptist church use to let them Baptize and use their church and now it's their churches turn to return the courtesy. What a Blessing! Our Chinese friend came, his name is Ton, he is from Hong Kong China, he has been here only about 14 years. Boyd introduced us to him a few years ago. Ben and Boyd are trying to teach him about the Lord Jesus Christ and his need for salvation. He is coming along, he requested a bible in Chinese a few years ago. He has come to two church services and he sings and listens well and talks about his beliefs afterward. Soon we hope to see him receive Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour. Please pray for his Salvation and that of his siblings and dear old mother. Ton is 40 years old.
Our two daughters were on cloud 9 all day, actually they have been all week anticipating this big special day. Ben (Daddy) was so blessed to be able to Baptize two of our precious daughters at one time, saved in the same year. The two girls looked so sweet together. Beaming with joy! Tomorrow I will post a picture. We need to down load my camera tonight. (I do not know how to do it )
I am so thankful we were able to get a decent non blurry family picture taken yesterday. It's hard to get everyone smiling. Our friend taking the picture is sort of zany and that made the little ones in deep thought instead of remembering to smile, the older ones can over ride all that. So thus not all of us are smiling, some of us have tired smiles because we had to keep a continuous smile on so multiple pictures could be taken in hopes of getting one that looks good.
More Pictures later!
Love, ~ sister Darlene ~

The picture is adorable. What a beautiful family you have. If I never get to meet you all face to face here on earth, I can't wait to fellowship with you all in heaven.

We are rejoicing with you all. Along with a whole Host of angels in heaven. God with us, and wants us. It still boggles the mind sometimes... and so we praise the Lord in response. Amen!

The girls are still beaming, so happy about what the Lord has done and is doing in their life. Please keep them in your prayers.
Rena Kay, Those are some dresses we recently made out of odds and ends material, we did not have enough material to keep it all one color so we had to get creative. They turned out nice.
I love the way they are holding hands, that is precious to see.

I may have to copy the idea if that is okay with you sister Darlene. I showed the pics to the girls and they loved them. They were also encourage to see other young ladies covered.
Thank you for sharing.

You are more than welcome to use the dress design. I have picked up all kind of helpful, and good ideas from other sisters over the years. 10 years ago I did not even know how to sew a dress.
May the Lord Bless your day!
