The message that was preached at our afternoon service yesterday was so convicting.
The brother that gave the message preached on Philippians 2:14, Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
The Lord has really been working on me about my speech lately. Not cursing, but complaining and griping, and to be honest a bit of gossiping. And then to hear a message about murmuring. Ouch.
I want people to remember me as having a meek and quiet spirit, not one filled with murmurings and gossip.

Sister Michelle, it is really tough when the man behind the pulpit stands there and preaches directly at you, isn't it? I have had that happen to me too many times for me to be comfortable with it. I have been "nailed" a few times by a preacher. I usually acknowledge it to them and I have the task set before me to change whatever it is that I was convicted about.
I shall pray for you about this.
In Christ, George

Sounds like a very good message. Just reading that portion of scripture convicted my heart. Always room for improvement in our walk with the Lord. And I agree with you too, I hope to be fondly remembered as a faithful humble servant of the Lord. Blessings, Sister Pamela
