I recall reading that site some time ago, and I'd say that site provides some very valid reasons to only trust the KJV.
When I see things about the NKJV and the clear 666 mobius on the cover, it always strikes a note with me, because I remember when my mother started going to the so called 'World Wide Church of God' she promptly purchased a great big leather bound NKJV. I only wish I'd have known then, what I know now about that phony bible.

I missed your post!... oops!
People seem so convinced that this NKJV is a good translation, Ben has had people try to convince him that it is a good translation. We stick with the tried and proven. Whats wrong with the old black book my father use to read from...
Is is so out dated, by modern translations...
Revised, Standard, and Good News every where you look...
Oh wont somebody tell me, what's wrong with the old King James!Have you ever heard that song before? It's a good one.
Have a blessed day Bro Steve!

Looks like a Celtic type of knot to me...also associated with the "old Celtic" religious practices..which are not Christian..
I was shocked when my hubby and I went into a "Christian" bookstore last week, 90% of the products were Made in China and I was just surprised over the massive amounts of different interpretations of the Holy Bible...why do people always want to make it "easier" when it is fine as it was and didn't need any new updates or revisions? It never ceases to amaze me...
Keep praying! Love, Sister Penny

Hi Sister Darlene
I haven't heard that particular song, but it certainly hits the nail on the head.
On the subject of bible translations, a guy at work last week accused me of "getting all hung up" about translations.
He was quoting from the NIV, and I said I only recognized the KJV, and stated that one example why I take that position is the fact the NIV removes Lucifer from Isaiah 14:12
I also mentioned that modern translations are not even taken from the same manuscript as the KJV, and even the actual translation techniques are different.
I know of one particular writer who refers to the NIV as the Never Inspired Version ~ I couldn't agree more!
