I told Sis. Darlene I would e-mail this to her but I am posting this here instead encase anyone else would be interested
3 1/2-4 cup flour 2 tsp. salt 1 package of yeast. We use one tablespoon 1 1/2 c. warm water 1 egg beaten sesame seeds 1 tsp water cold
Mix 1 cup flour, salt and yeast. Gradually add water. Beat for 2 minutes. Add 3/4 cup flour. Beat at high speed for two minutes. Stir in enough flour to make a stiff dough. Turn into lightly floured surface. knead until smooth and elastic (approximately 5 minutes) divide dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a 5" circle Cover and let rest on a lightly floured surface for 45 minutes. Place circles, bottom side up, on a lightly floured baking sheet. Blend egg and cold water. Brush this mixture lightly on top of each circle of dough. Sprinkle each with about 1 tsp. sesame seeds Bake at 500 for 8- 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove and cool. cut into halves or fourths to serve. Note: This bread can be used for pocket sandwiches or a snack bread with cheese. We have never used the sesame seeds and the bread was still good.
