My Physical Therapist just gave me this recipe they use. Double up 2 Ziploc freezer bags 1 gallon sized
Use 3 cups of water 1 cup of rubbing alcohol Freeze. Apply ice 4x/day 10-15 minutes each time. This will always stay slushy and pliable.
Use a pillow case or a soft cloth material between ice pack and skin.
Another tip, free a larger sized styrofoam cup and gently tear off about 1 inch and use that as an ice rub for about 15 seconds, you can just put it back in the freezer after the use.

Oh wow! I will have to try this.. Thank you.. Those reusable ice packs at the store are way too high
