Hello board, I am happy to be back. In the recent past, I became sick and lost much interest in anything, but God has been so good to me in giving His Son that I might be saved. I am so happy and just wanted to let the board know I am back and to say thank you for all the post. Although I do not take the time to reply to them all, they are a help and an encouragement. For those that have joined since I have been on. I live here in the Peach state of Georgia. I am married and have no children at home currently; however, our two grandchildren visit and the grand daughter thinks she should lives here. She's a Papa's girl. In the recent past my dh and I were hurt by the church we loved (many may have similar stories). My husband and I did love them all so much. When I decided to cover, many were offended and it caused great controversy, even though I was quiet about it, they did not like it. I have been covering for some time now and have the allowance and encouragement of my DH. He is so wonderful. I make my own coverings and dresses. I just like to sew.

It's nice to "meet" you!! I just started using a sewing machine I got from my grandma, I have made a few skirts from pairs of pants (some better than others, lol!!!). I'm planning on making another one from a pair of jeans one of these days, I bought material and ripped the seams out...now just to get motivated to go do it!!!
My hubby prefers me not to cover, so I don't. He said I can do so in private prayer/bible time at home, which I do. I long so badly to cover full time, and have faith that someday I will be able to God is good and can change hearts! It wouldn't go over well at my church either. I'm actually not sure what would happen, no one covers there. They may make me a non-member if I refuse to stop, which would be heart breaking. Or, they'd allow me to be a member still, just feel sorry for me being trapped in a "false religion w/ legalistic teachings". I'm not sure, I think that's what my hubby is afraid of. We love our church, and he doesn't want that to change. I don't blame him I guess
I'm glad you have come back, I look forward to talk w/ you
