Hello
We have homeschooled (and still homeschooling) our children. It's now time to look at college for one of our sons. We were looking for a good Christian online college that's not too expensive. We've had some different suggestions - but I thought I'd see if anyone here has any good suggestions?
Thank you so much!!!
Love in Christ Kim

I guess it depends on what he wants to major in. My husband is working through Andersonville Theological Seminary to get his Bachelor in Pastoral Studies, I believe it is. They are a correspondence school, you pay the tuition and they send you the lectures on CD and the tests. It is nice, because you can work at your own pace, but one does have to be disciplined as there are no deadlines or anything.

First of all, BE CAREFUL! The phrase "Christian College," makes it no more Christian than standing in the garage makes me a car! Do your homework. Find out what their commitment is to as students relationship with Christ. I used to get ALOT of literature from Pennsicola Christian College and it was FILLED with play. They really appealed to all the FUN kids could have there. Now, I know life does not have to be spent in the Gulag, but neither are wanting to educated a bunch of wild fools.
Secondly, see if they offer classes that deal with the inner man as well as academia. I went to a somewhat "good" conservative college. I learned a lot of "head" knowledge. In retrospect, I wish they would have had classes on the "Hidden Life in Christ," "Powerful Prayer," etc. This is FAR more important that academic excellence.
