Former homosexuals are being given an opportunity to step forward and demonstrate their love for Christ and the freedom they have gained through him.
The Freedom March has become an annual event in the nation's capital – and more cities are being added. The organization is headed by Jeffrey McCall.
"What it's all about is sharing testimonies of people who have left LGBTQ lifestyles to follow Jesus Christ – and we gather in different cities [to do that]," he tells OneNewsNow. "Every May we gather in Washington, DC … and share our testimonies of leaving those lifestyles to follow God."
The DC Freedom March begins Saturday at National Sylvan Theatre near the Washington Monument – and the event is spreading, says McCall.
"We've been to different parts [of the country] … the East Coast, last year DC, the West Coast in L.A. This year we have DC [this weekend], St. Paul [June 23] and Orlando [September 14]. So there's always one near someone in the United States.
"Next year we are probably planning to have the [national] one in D.C. in May, and then we're also going to do Atlanta, Georgia, and Dallas, Texas."
McCall says anyone interested in a city that has yet to have one can get started by contacting Freedom March via its website contact page to discuss it. Link
