A Messianic Jew is questioning whether Democrats are becoming the party of anti-Semites.
The immigration of Muslims into Europe is already causing difficulties in several nations, even to the extent that police in some areas won't go into Muslim-dominated neighborhoods because of the potential for violence. For example, OneNewsNow reported earlier this year that skyrocketing anti-Semitism reflects a violent trend that's been sweeping across Great Britain for years – especially in areas that have taken in an influx of Muslim immigrants from the Middle East and Africa.
Joel Chernoff, executive director of the Alliance for Israel Advocacy, argues that America could experience the same because of the influx of Muslims into the U.S.
"For the first time in U.S. history, there is danger that anti-Semitism will become normalized and legitimized in U.S. politics via the Democratic Party and a DNC-controlled Congress," says Chernoff. "Anti-Semitism has existed since the founding of the country, but [it] has never been institutionally embraced by either of its two main political parties."
Until now, he continues: "It has landed in the U.S. Congress in the persons of [Rashida] Tlaib, [Ilhan] Omar, and [Keith] Ellison," he says bluntly. "There are others that support them, like [Alexandria] Ocasio-Cortez and Alyssa [Pressley]. I mean, these are all people running in the same stream." (All except Ellison are pictured above)
With the exception of Ellison – who no longer serves on Capitol Hill – all those who Chernoff cites are first-term members of the U.S. House. Chernoff notes that some of them have made anti-U.S., anti-Semitic, and anti-Israel comments with very little pushback from within the ranks of the Democratic Party.
"Their apparent long-term objective is to make anti-Israel discourse a regular and normal part of U.S. politics," he adds.
Chernoff tells OneNewsNow that Democrats need to go into damage control and bring it to a halt.
"Anti-Israel, anti-Christian, anti-religion – all of those things are being packaged together as a very toxic brew here; and it is really endangering the future of this country," he cautions.
Otherwise, the AIA leader concludes, it's possible the Democratic Party will become the party of hate, which has the potential of dividing the country, tearing it down to its foundation. He encourages people to take action at the ballot box and pray for a halt to shift religion out of the public arena and religious people into the underground.
