As we are nearing the election in just a little over a week , we are see much unrest in our country, I fear after the election we will see even more. As believer what shall we do? I believe our greatest strength is on our knees. May God give us the wisdom we need in how to pray. I believe that neither man running for president is a Godly man. There is so much half truths on both sides. That said Gods ways are greater then our understanding, He uses the unrighteous to bring about His will, and even will give the people their desires even if it is wrong for them. We only need to look at the old testament to see how He did that with the Israelites. I do believe as believers w need to be careful to not get caught up with it all. God is still in control even though it looks like the ungoldy are winning. As a Mennonite I do not partake in the political area . But if you do, pray God will direct you in how you would vote. I think to remember is we can not legislate morality, only changed hearts towards God will change things, and as believers we need to be a light to those around us. May Gods will be done.

Amen Brother Randy. Though I'm not officially a Mennonite, I do follow the teachings and I don't get involved in political matters either . I will definitely be praying for our country and the election.
