'' Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.''
The Lord has been so very good to me through all my afflictions lately. He has comforted me and shown me how many good friends I have who pray for me.
The Lord has provided for our family through it all and our pain and suffering has been tolerable.
The loving hand of the mighty God has been upon us, He has comforted my heart through it all.
The Lord protected all my extended family members through the past 3 Hurricanes.
Who want's to brag on the Lord next!.....
What wonderful things has the Lord done for you lately? Nothing is too small and no post too long...

The Lord has done so many wonderful things for me. He gave me the greatest desire of my heart, my four precious children. I always knew I wanted a lot of children but I liked to work too. I have had so many jobs I can't remember them all just because I always thought there was something better. I was not content until my third child was born. I quit work after my 3 month maternity leave. About 6 months later I called and wanted to go back to work as money has always been tight. Well, I couldn't because I only gave 13 days notice and not 14. The first day I had gone back to work I drove the whole way crying and praying as I wanted to be with my children. I felt Jesus' hand on my shoulder and He told me it would be ok and He would take care of it. Still gives me chills to think about that. It still took me awhile but I felt that the Lord told me my 'job' was caring for my children and being a mother. It was hard at times because I liked working but it has been such a blessing.
Lately he has been providing for our needs to no end. I have not gotten a job yet because I feel that the Lord wants me to be home with my children taking care of them. I believe that God is way bigger than whatever the devil can throw at me. I was to the point that I went to apply for aid last week as I did not have money to buy food. Well, there was a little glitch and I had to have my husband sign a paper saying how much he was giving me in money as nothing is set in stone yet. I did that, reluctantly, I'll admit it, I don't like to talk to him. Well I havent turned that in yet. My church does the local food bank and I had thought I had missed it but last night at church they had my food ready and waiting. It was such a blessing, they take good care of us. Or I should say God takes wonderful care of us.

Thank you dear Sarah, what a wonderful testimony of the love of the Father and His mighty hand of provision! Tears of joy run down my face, I am encouraged of the Lord. I sometimes worry about if Ben ever died how would I make it. I've never had to work outside the home. I probably couldn't get a good enough job to support 9 people also I wouldn't want to leave my children. Testimonies like this elivate any fears or worries that might pop into my mind. ( Were not supposed to worry about tomarrow but every now and then I do wonder and yes I worry until God so faithfully comforts and encourages me in this area. We serve a wonderful and mighty God! Who want's to brag on God next?.........

Well ladies that would have to be me. Hi all. ;D God is so good. We to have to watch every penny, there is weeks when honestly we don't have a dollar to our name. With five children that is hard. However when those hard times come up the Lord always gives us what we need. He have never gone without what we need. The children have never gone without shoes. They might have come close but God has either given them shoes thue someone or I have found them on sale 90% off. What a blessing. When we needed school books this year. I knew we did not have the money to buy any books long enough for two children. Well sure enough someone gave me the books we needed. My husband Gerald has high blood presure. We finally got to the place in his job where he could get insurance however we found out after we got it that we could not use it with him for a year due to his prexisting problems. Well we can not afford the insurance and the meds or doctors fees. My husband has went off the meds and well his blood pressure is staying in the normal range. We are praying that it stays that way. I belive the lord will protect him. He know what we are going thue. And there is more. My son he has ear problems all the time. He had a infection in his ear. We were able to heal him with the word of god and natural meds. And there is still more. The lord watched over us just this week. There was a hurricane heading our way.We were told that there would be lots of rain, and bad winds. And that we would loose power. Well we did not loose power, we only lost some very small limbs in our tree. NO DAMAGE at all. People around us lost power some lost trees and more. God watched over us. We thought we would for sure loose a window or something. They were flexing but never not one broke. And finally the LORD sent his son to die for me. For me of all people. If that is not showing his love I do not know what is.

The Lord has provided me with the extra money to buy some modest clothing I really needed! A dress and two nice skirts, plus I found some great deals on shirts for Buddy and stuff for the kids! We don't often get new clothes so it was really exciting! Prayers answered! Praise God! Linda

Wow...What has the Lord done for me..."For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life". John 3:16 The Lord loved us so much he died for us...I have been wondering in my christian walk for so long, until I came across this verse and the Lord opened my eyes to what I should be doing..."I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service". Romans 12:1 "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. 1 John 2:16-17. "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit". Galatians 5:25 I love the Lord and you ladies too!

God has done more for me than words could ever express. I am saved. I am not prefect, but i know someone who is. My son just turned 1 on the 18th. When he was 9 mos old he got VERY sick with Salmonilla poisoning, and was in and out of the hospital ER, and pediatric clinic for 4 days recieving IV treatments and anitbiotics, then was admitted for good for the next 3 days. Dehydration set in. Everything was off balanced in his little body, he lost 3 lbs in 4 days. Death was near. Too near. God, is all His glory, and mercy, saved son. Needless to say, i'm just blessed that he made it to his first birthday. I am blessed because i have a husband who puts forth nearly every effort to lead his family in Christ. He is a godly man who is conservative, he knows how to stand up for Christ. He knows how to witness to others and does everyday at work. He's opened our home to a weekly bible study which has just blessed me in ao many ways! I get a change to practice my hospitality skills each week. And working on that quiet and gentle spirit that a woman ought to have. I am blessed because we are in the process of buying our first home, and this thing has practically dropped out of heaven! (the house i mean) It's amazing how everytime i pray that God will CLOSE the doors if this is not His will, those doors just seem to open all the wider! And His blessings on this home buying experience seems to rain down even harder. It's ok to have rain on your plans when it's from God! We are hardly rich monetarily, but God always provides all our needs and even leaves some cash left over for us each paycheck. Not much, but enough. I am blessed because of the family i have, my own and the family i married into, and the family of God i was adopted into. I am blessed because although my hubby doesn't have a job lined up when he gets out, i know God will take care of us no matter what! And we will never be pressed, or go without. God is always faithful. I am blessed because of my amazing children. They are my own little bits of joy in my monotinous days filled with laundry, diapers, brooms, pots n pans and story books. I am truely blessed.

Sherri, my baby boy Caleb just turned 1 on the 18th of August! Isn't that neat! Thank you for your warm and encouraging testimony. I am encouraged in the Lord when you ladies share. We should praise the Lord for the big and small things he does in our lives. Here is a small blessing, though it is big to me. I was laying in bed this morning talking to the Lord while I woke up. It takes me a few min to wake up so I take that opertunity to talk to the Lord. This morning I had a need pop into my head I need crib sheets for Calebs baby bed. I started thinking how I need to go by a georage sale and see if I could find some then all the sudden the Lord reminded me where I had put some of my baby shower things, and that there were a few there. Thank you Lord for the small things! I had totaly forgotten about those. Ok you men need to brag on the Lord a little bit too. I know the Lord does mighty things in your lives and even answeres small prayers or desires also. So here is the place to tell what the Lord does in your lives. It is good to tell what God has done for you. Next!.......

I needed to go to the store today to buy bread and crackers for lunch but I only have $2.00 until next Thursday. I asked the Lord before I left to help me use His money the best way possible and get the things we needed. I had to go to the little local store where everything costs more. I can get a box of crackers at Aldi for 59cents and the cost today at this store was $1.60! And I still needed bread. Then the Lord gave me the idea that we could use croutons in our soup (as I have a bunch of those). So thank the Lord I only had to spen 69 cents on bread.
God is so good!!

What a blessing! The Lord does care about every little thing (that doesn't always seem so little) He is a personal God. He cares for us like a loving friend would. Sharing how good God has been to us is contagious! Who will be next?.........

Ok I'll be next! Well time flies and today was our last day in our free building(rented by another church and loaned to us until the lease was up Sept 30th) Back when they told us we could meet there until Sept. 30th I ask Ben ''What will we do? Where will we meet after Sept. 30th? Where will we store the pews? Ben calmly said God provided new manna every morning, and He will provide a place when we need one. Well he was right Friday he called a friend we know with a building on his busness that Ben thought we might could store our pews until we find a place to meet. Well the man said that would make a great place to meet. He told Ben lets pray and see if God would have yall meet there. Ben just spoke to him to set up a time tomarrow when we can take the pews over to store them. The man said I want yall to use that building for Gods glory! Praise the Lord His provision was there. I'm so excited it's a nice stirdy building with plenty of room a bathroom and it's near our house and there is plenty of soul winning to be done there. Another blessing I went to Sams to buy some meat and this Italian sausage I was going to buy was 1/2 price! I bought twice as much for the same price I would have paid for half as much. My precious grandmother is comming and I want to have some special meals prepared while shes here. Next....

The thread seemed to need some quick reviving so here I am.... I have so many blessings in my life, but today, a great one came to our home and settled over our family. We had been neglecting a 'family' devotional with everyone included for a while. Today, not attending our local church (that's a whole other story in itself...for another time perhaps) we went about our quiet time with a full family devotional starting with our Godly Home Series set. What a blessing and a treat it was. The children were listening, soaking in the ideas and Scriptures. The younger ones were a bit antsy, but they come out of a church where young children aren't in the service but in the nursery or preschool area, playing during service Shame on us...they don't sit for long and we must work on that and train them. As I said, there are so many more blessings in our lives than a simply quiet time of devotion, but today it is that time that has stirred my heart and written a peaceful smile across my spirit. Dearest Deanna, What a Blessing! Thank you for your testimony... Devotion time is so sweet... The children really like to be taught about the Lord and how to live... May the Lord continue to bless and grow your family in this way... Something we started doing a few years back is learning whole songs and passages of scripture by heart and reciteing them together... Even the little ones who can't read will be able to do this... There only little once we need to cherish the moments while we can, and make good use of our time to train them and turn there hearts tword God... May the Lord bless your day sweet sister, I love you,~ sister Darlene ~

I've enjoyed reading these testimonies.
The Lord has blessed me in so many ways that they are hard to list. The first blessing that comes to mind is my precious little Mahala, my fourth baby. She is turning 5 this November.
When I was expecting her, the doctors noticed something wrong on the ultrasound--they couldn't find her stomach. After more tests, they told me that she had a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia and would probably not survive after birth. They expected her to have only a half a lung, if any at all, because her abdominal organs were growing in her chest cavity.
Of course we never considered abortion but one doctor in particular was really pushing it. The baby was given a less than 10% chance of survival. My husband and children and I prayed through the long months before she was born and on November the 3rd, 2000 she came into the world, looked at me, screwed up her little face, and cried, a sure sign that she had working lungs!
After almost three months in the hospital and two surgeries she came home to stay. I'm thankful to be able to report no lingering effects although she does still have some minor health issues with her heart.
Every day when I look at her I am reminded of God's goodness and mercy. He has also blessed our family with a three bedroom home after years of living in a cramped 2 bedroom 14x70 housetrailer.
And He blessed me just yesterday by letting me find this board where I can fellowship with brothers and sisters who aren't ashamed to praise His holy name.
