Ok ladies I have a question for you. My husband and myself are trying to figure out ways we can make money at home. Here are some of our ideas and if you can post some of your ideas or comments of how you make a few extra dollars. Here is what we have came up with. 1. sell any extra produce our garden brings in. 2. sell homemade jellies and jams 3. sell homemade breads 4. sell homemade aprons 5. sell homemade candles 6. sell extra eggs 7. sell my purses made out of placemats 8. mow peoples yards for them 9. Have a yard sale and sale as much of the junk we no longer need or care to have in the house.
there is the ideas we have so far. Any help you can give will help. we are looking at making a extra 400.00 a month. This will cover all our bills.. Thanks in advance for all your help glenda

Glenda, There are lots of ways to make money, especially being a "mother's helper" with summer fast approaching, the spring cleaning needs to be done and also daycare.
I make soaps and scrubs for gift baskets, and also soy wax candles..another way to glean ideas is check out the gift stores and see what is selling in the trendy market...
One area that might be a concern is selling food-stuffs, that your kitchen is not licensed, as some states have very strict rules in selling homemade goods anymore.
Good luck with your ventures! We enjoy garage saling here and also gleaning from the curb pickups..you would be amazed at the things people just toss away. Blessings, Peace

Here's a couple, sister Glenda, 1. Make sure your air pressure is proper in your car tires. Low tires make the vehicle run inefficiantly which takes extra gas...now that's big bucks these days. 2. Make sure you keep you vehicle in tune, oil change, and lube job, same as above. 3. Sell unneccesary luxuries (except the A/C here in the south, ha-ha.)
