I first must give a little explanation. As we have begun to clean out every area of our lives we have gotten rid of certain CDs. Bri even got rid of some without us asking, she just simply stated that she didn't feel like they were right anymore. This is what we want is for our children to decided for themselves as much as possible. We have been looking for music to replace these CDs esp. since we don't have the TV anymore. I was able to get some from the ladies retreat that I went to this weekend. I knew they would be good because the churcht that had them out there is VERY conservative and they don't even like Southern Gospel. I am supposed to sing in two weeks at church and I have been trying to decide what to sing. I had pertty much decided on the song, No More Night, but wasn't totally sure. As I listened to one of the CDs it was as if God was saying pay attention. I realized the words were speaking to me. I also realized the melody sounded hymn like. I actually found it in my hymn book. I want to share the words to this beautiful hymn with all of you. I just cried as I sang this song and thanked God for giving me the song He wanted me to sing in two weeks.

Vs.1
Nothing between my soul and the Saviour, Naught of this world's delusived dream: I have renounced all sinful pleasure, Jesus is mine, there's nothing between.
Chorus:
Nothing between my soul and the Saviour, So that His blessed face may be seen: Nothing preventing the least of His favor, Keep the way clear, Let nothing between.
Vs.2
Nothing between like worldly pleasure; Habits of life, though harmless they seem, Must not my heart from Him ever sever, He is my all there's nothing between.
Vs.3
Nothing between like pride or like station; Self or friends shall not intervene; Tho' it may cost me much tribulation, I am resolved there's nothing between.
Vs.4
Nothing between, e'en many hard trials, Tho' the whole world against me convene; Watching with prayer and much self denial, I'll triumph at last, with nothing between
The song then goes to the hymn "Our Great Savior"
Vs.1
Jesus what a Friend for sinners Jesus Lover of my soul Friends may fail me foes assail me, He my Savior makes me whole,
Chorus
Hallelujah what a Savior Hallelujah what a Friend Saving helping, keeping, loving, He is with me to the end
Vs.2
Jesus what a strength in weakness let me hide myself in Him Tempted tried, and sometimes failing, He my strength my vict'ry wins.
Vs.3
Jesus what a help in sorrow While the billows o'er me roll, Even when my heart is breaking, He my comfort helps my soul.
Vs.4
Jesus what a guide and keeper while the tempest still is high storms about me night o'er takes me He my pilot hears my cry.
Vs.5
Jesus I do now receive Him more than all in Him I find, He hath granted me for giveness I am His and he is mine.
What a Savior indeed. He has given me these songs at a time in my life when I feel so alone and weighted down by others and what they say and how they feel about our lives. He was so kind and wonderful to reming me gently through a beautiful song that I am not alone, He is with me always, and we are doing right by making sure there is "Nothing Between". I plan to copy these songs and send them to all our friends and family to testify of what God did for me tonight and so that maybe it will be a help to them also.
Just a humble servant.

Heather
