A notable professor of a prominent Seminary was invited to take a world tour and speak in some of the most prestigious cathedrals on our globe. Upon returning the college had a welcome home celebration and they asked him to get up and share the most profound thing he observed while traveling the world wide.
He graciously mounted the podium, cleared his throat and told them, "I have seen the great wonders of the world, and I have met the with men of great theological understanding, and the most profound thought that struck me in all of my travels is this, Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so."
Let us not miss this great and wonderous truth.

Bro. Ben...This is so wonderful that you posted this...I am reading a book by Steven Lawson "Made in our Image, What shall we do with a user-friendly god?" and he mention this same Swiss theologian Karl Barth who was asked "What is the greatest thought that ever passed your mind?" And he replied, "Jesus loves me this I know. For the bible tells me so." He said that this was the greatest truth that ever entered his mind.
Another statement made by Martin Luther: " God does not love us because we are valuable, but we are valuable because God loves us."
Thank you for sharing...Love Sister Debbie
