The Unspoken Needs Of Our Hearts
Life can be full of issues...problems and pain and at times we're overwhelmed by it all.
So we humbly ask for prayer, support & advice
from the faithful whom we frequently call.
But there will always be areas that are ever so sensitive that we can't even share the need with a soul.
For just speaking the details will stir up the pain so we hold it in silence and go.
Yet there is One who is able and willing to listen to those private, most-intimate details.
For He is Abba..tender Father...who upholds His children for His love is supreme and prevails.
He is there for His children in the darkness of night when tears flow hot down weary-worn cheeks.
He lets His children cry and pour out their hearts
...as He lovingly holds them and speaks.
Our lives are like books with many chapters inside but there are pages we only let our Father read.
For truly He's the one who knows it all, start to finish and He's the one who can meet all our needs.
There are seasons of life where we break from the flow whether it's sorrow...great crisis or devastation.
And we reach for the solace we find in our King's hand who gives mercy and authors salvation.
Though trials beset us, He will never forget us.
He sees our lives from the very first start.
And He opens His arms when He sees us run to Him
...with the unspoken needs of our hearts.
" Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
