Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where [art] thou?
How good, and how sweet it is to be blessed with a loving Father who not only sits on His throne in Heaven, King and Pontentate, but also comes in the cool of the day desiring a daily walk with His children. We, like Adam and Eve, spiritually have the privilege of looking into the Bible and hearing the voice of the Lord every day. Oh! What sweetness! Oh! What blessedness!
And yet, because of the deceitfulness of sin, there comes a time when the loving Father, seeking fellowship, comes to us and says, "Where art thou?" So I ask this morning my dear board brethren, "Where art thou?" You can imagine the heart of the Father. When your beloved child who you birthed and have travailed over looses that sweet spirit and you see that your words of care and warning are not taking root in their heart and the hardened countenance shows their spiritual condition, you grieve. So does the Father.
Are you walking in sweet fellowship, or have you hid yourself from the presence of the Lord. Surely the Lord knew where they were and He knows where you are, but our loving Father is not going to drag you out, but with tear in eye and a broken heart He will ask, "Where art thou?"
It is my prayer today that you will let these words sink into your heart and turn to our beloved Jesus and return to a sweet walk with Him in the "cool of the day."
How blessed it is to walk in the garden with Him, instead of the jungle of sin!
Blessings to you today.

Bro. Ben
