Hello Sisters, Well, with Thanksgiving being tomorrow..I wanted to share my gravy recipe...this one is simple, and you can do it with any meat broth.
I make a Roux...which is 1 cup flour, 1 cup butter, you cook this on low until a light golden brown and then gradually add in your broth and whisk until you get the right consistency...the gravy always comes out nice and creamy and never lumpy...
My Dad loves his gravy recipe..he adds flour and the water into a glass jar, puts on the lid and shakes that up...he uses that for his base and adds it to the broth...his is fine for a non white type gravy and also...no lumps.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving! Sister Penny
